What we collect
- Business information you submit when claiming a listing.
- Account details when you sign in — email, password hash, name.
- Call tracking data for phone numbers we've provisioned on your behalf.
- Basic analytics: page views, clicks. We do not sell this data.
Call recording & retention
Tracking-number calls are recorded and retained for 7 years per our TCPA defense posture. Recordings are encrypted at rest. Business owners can access their own recordings in the portal; nobody else can.
How we use your data
- To operate the Chautauqua Local directory.
- To send you product emails you've opted into.
- To prove compliance with federal comms law if asked.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your contact information to third parties.
- We don't use your data to train large language models.
- We don't cold-call your customers.
Your rights
You can request export or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing privacy@chautauqualocal.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
When this policy changes materially, we'll email registered account holders 14 days in advance. The version history is in our public commit log.
