What Chautauqua Local is

A local business directory, call-tracking platform, and marketing channel for businesses in Chautauqua County, NY and (over time) other tenant markets.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private. One account per business owner. Sharing a login with employees is fine; give them their own account when practical.

Billing

• Paid tiers bill monthly or annually, in advance.
• Cancel anytime from the portal; access continues through the end of your current billing period.
• No refunds on time already billed, but no surprise renewals either — annual plans email you 14 days before renewal.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of text, photos, and offers you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive license to display them on Chautauqua Localand in associated marketing materials (postcards, guides) as long as you're a customer.

Acceptable use

• No impersonating other businesses.
• No fake reviews — yours or competitors'.
• No content that's illegal, harassing, or infringing.
• We may remove listings or content that violates these rules, with notice when practical.

Call tracking

If you're on Growth or Authority tier, we provision a tracking phone number that forwards to your real line. Calls are recorded. By using the service, you accept that recording is part of how it works, and that recordings may be reviewed for fraud or abuse investigations.

No dofollow backlinks

All outbound links to paid listings use rel="sponsored". We do not sell link juice and won't change this policy for any amount.

Warranty / liability

The service is provided as-is. We don't warrant specific SEO outcomes or lead volumes. Our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the trailing 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New York state law. Disputes go to the courts of Chautauqua County, NY.

Changes

When these terms change materially, we'll email customers 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
